Season 3 Battle Pass explodes with Phoenix Force and symbiote themes

Marvel Rivals Season 3 Battle Pass skins is about to shake things up with the Power of the Phoenix Battle Pass launching on July 11. Despite this season being only two months long, it will still feature 10 cosmetic rewards. The shorter duration will not limit players because there will be extra ways to earn Chrono tokens, making the grind less of a pain and more rewarding.

One of the most exciting additions is the Phoenix Force Emma Frost skin. It boasts striking white and gold armor with the classic Phoenix logo on her chest. Symbiote Squirrel Girl and Rocket Raccoon go dark

Another standout is the Symbiote Squirrel Girl skin. Although opinions online have been mixed, many players see this as Squirrel Girl’s best look yet. The skin adds fluffy symbiote ears and a venomized Tippy Toe sidekick, making it both adorable and genuinely unsettling. It is a creative spin that freshens up her aesthetic without straying too far from her roots.

Rocket Raccoon also joins the symbiote roster with his Venomized look. This skin covers Rocket in jet-black fur and eerie white Venom eyes. He also has a unique symbiote-style jacket, complete with a hood that looks like Venom’s open mouth, adding serious character. The futuristic symbiote gun ties it all together for an intimidating finish.

Players have already uncovered voice lines for Rocket’s emote in the game files. Lines like “Whoa. Hey, bite them, not me. Easy, buddy. Free Storm skin and other exciting Season 3 cosmetics

Marvel Rivals Season 3 battle pass skins also offers a free Storm skin through an in-game event. Players will complete event challenges to earn this symbiote-themed version of Storm. Even with only her head visible in previews, the design shows off her iconic white hair, lightning bolt earrings, and the menacing symbiote styling that fans love.

Other skins are either confirmed or rumored to appear in the Battle Pass or the in-game store. The Hela Queen in Black skin is a definite highlight. Inspired by Marvel’s King in Black storyline, this version sees Hela used as a puppet by Null. Blade MVP animation and new customization options

Early footage of Blade’s MVP animation was leaked by Rivals Info, offering a sneak peek at his style and weapons. Blade is seen with his hunting shotgun and Dracula’s sword slung over his back. While clearly unfinished, it gives players an idea of what to expect when Blade becomes available later in the season.

Beyond new skins, the Battle Pass introduces the Unstable Molecule currency. This resource lets players buy recolored skins and ultimate visual effects for their heroes. These VFX changes only appear on the player’s screen to maintain balance. Players can earn Unstable Molecules through the Battle Pass or purchase them, offering more flexibility in customization.

Recolors are planned for Jeff and Rocket’s Summer skins, as well as the Scarlet Witch Immortal Sovereign and Invisible Woman Malice skins. While some recolors are serious, others goof around with brighter colors and fun patterns, adding plenty of personality for collectors.

New accessories and Phoenix’s teased abilities

Marvel Rivals Season 3 also brings new accessories that players can earn for free by playing quickplay or competitive modes. These are little charms that attach to heroes and even trigger animations when you get a kill. Examples include a Venom charm that wiggles and even Deadpool’s backside shaking on-screen, adding humor to your matches.

Finally, players got an early look at Phoenix’s gameplay. She does not appear to be a permanent flyer but seems to have an ability to take flight for short bursts. Her primary fire uses a telekinetic blast with 12 ammo. There is also a chain reaction mechanic combining attacks from her human and Phoenix forms, adding layers of strategy. Her health in the team-up gameplay was shown as 275, suggesting she will be durable but balanced for play.
