Blade’s kit: sword combos, shotgun shots and more

Blade comes equipped with two main weapons: his Chopper sword and the Hunting Gun shotgun. The sword delivers a four-hit combo that deals around 45 damage per hit, ending in a heavier slash. This makes Blade deadly at close range. When distance is needed, he switches to the Hunting Gun, a long-range shotgun that does about 50 damage to the body and 85 damage on headshots.

What makes his shotgun interesting is its possible explosive pellet effect at longer distances, mimicking Roadhog’s gun from Overwatch. This means he can threaten enemies even outside his melee zone, giving him an edge in duel scenarios.

Scarlet shroud blocks frontal damage

Weapon-dependent dash offers burst or slow

Blade’s Shift ability, Daywalker Dash, has two effects based on his weapon. With the shotgun out, Blade tackles an enemy, fires a burst shot, and applies a healing reduction debuff. With his sword equipped, the dash becomes a spinning cleave that slows enemies hit. Both versions push enemies back and give Blade ways to disrupt or escape fights.
